Suzuki is one of the big four Japanese motorcycle manufacturers and, like some of the others, started out making different machinery and moved over to motorcycles after the second world war. The first Suzuki motorcycle was manufactured in 1952 and was in fact a bicycle with a 36cc engine fitted to it.
