The Suzuki GSX-R was a really revolutionary series of sportsbikes first appearing in 1984 and then going through many incarnations with later models, like the GSX-R1000 in 2001 and the GSX-R125 and GSX-R150 manufactured in 2017. The earliest model had a four cylinder engine, full fairing and aluminium frame which set the mould that many modern superbikes still adhere to today. Truly a groundbreaker and still going strong.
